Craig has a Ph.D and over 10 years of experience performing scientific research into the development of new pharmaceuticals. Part of Craig’s scientific research involved the study of stress and its impact on health. Craig became acutely aware that stress can have a massive negative impact on recovery from serious illness and injury.
In 2013, Craig started Stress Free Insurance from scratch offering personal insurance products to help people make sure that their finances are protected if something serious and unexpected happens to their health. This would enable them to focus on recovery without the stress of worrying about money. Most of Craig’s early clients were self-employed tradies, who regularly asked Craig to also cover their businesses, so in 2018, Craig also became a general insurance broker. Since 2018 he has also been offering public liability insurance, portable tools insurance and a broad range of other business insurance, and general insurance products.
Outside of work, Craig is a dedicated family man, meeting his wife while living in Germany. Craig speaks German, but nicht so gut (not very well). They have two teenagers and two little dogs. When Craig was younger, he played Aussie Rules footy until in an over 40’s competition a hamstring injury put him out for the rest of the season. This led to Craig’s retirement from Aussie Rules, but he still loves AFL and as he originated from Adelaide, he’s an avid Adelaide Crows fan.
